ÂmesangMay the Force be with you…

has lost the game

Yeah, just got back from watching The Force Awakens (in the worst way possible; 3D was not made for regular glasses wearin' folk, and front-row is overated), and I highly enjoyed it, but at the same time it's the first movie all over again… which is good, in a way; Creed was the the first Rocky all over again, and I like that — I like stories where the "torch" is passed from one generation to the next, and both films changed it up enough to keep things not exactly the same.

…though is it just me or did Snoke look too much like Gollum? Granted, again, I was probably watching it from such a bad angle.

To be perfectly honest I was kind of hoping Leia would have been the one to die; not that I have anything against her, she's a great, strong character… but imagine if it all comes down to that last moment — again, like the first film — but this time they fail? Rey, Finn, Han, they're all left there watching the entire system get wiped… haunted by their failure, but together the could find the strength to push on…… plus it'd leave us with a super weapon that lasts more than one %&#$'n movie.

So Kylo is basically Dæmon King Piccolo from Dragon Ball Multiverse? XÞ

I'm really hoping that at some point my local cinema will play Labyrinth as part of its Classic Wednesday lineup. I would absolutely love to see it on the big screen as it's one of my favorite movies! I will have to keep checking.

For new movies, one that I think looks funny is Dirty Grandpa, haha.

I also want to see Miracles from Heaven and The Secret Life of Pets.

Last month I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It was great and so much better than On Stranger Tides!. Capt. Jack ftw!
