The Google Video embed button I added whenever ago will remain up until then, then it and all of the code associated with it will be removed.
Well, it was a nice feature while it lasted, since I doubt too many other forums bothered with it; considering the dominance of YouTube (and, if I recall, Google owns them anyway), I can see why Google is dropping its own video section.
(To be honest, the only Google Video I ever bothered with was the 3D rendering of the ending for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 which, as it turns out, is on YouTube, anyway.)
EDIT: As it turns out, there are still Google Videos up and ready for embedding, so the Google Video tags and button shall remain.

I've checked my bookmarks and the URLs give a false redirect to YouTube ("This video is unavailable"), while any embedded videos simply don't work.
I don't yet know if all or any of the videos have been transferred to YouTube, which I believe was the initial plan last year.
I'll keep the embed button up until I know whether or not this is permanent.
UPDATE — 1:39 PM
As it turns out, there are still some Google Videos remaining, including the "Sonic Adventure DX" video used in the embed button's help text.
